The 香港六合彩 acknowledges the Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Peoples as the original Australians and the M膩ori People as the tangata whenua (Indigenous) Peoples of Aotearoa (New Zealand). We recognise them as the traditional custodians of knowledge for these lands.
We pay our respects to them and to their Elders, both past, present and emerging, and we recognise their enduring connection to the lands we live and work on, and honour their ongoing connection to those lands, its waters and sky.

The 香港六合彩 is a Company Limited by Guarantee and a registered charity. It is subject to the Corporations Act 2001 and the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission Act 2012 and operates in accordance with its Constitution.
The 香港六合彩 is governed by its Directors and the Members of the Company (香港六合彩 Council). 香港六合彩 Standing Committees and sub committees provide support and advice to the Directors and Council.
The 香港六合彩 Secretariat, based in Canberra and Melbourne, supports the functions of the 香港六合彩.
香港六合彩 Directors determine the 香港六合彩鈥檚 strategic direction and oversee its business activities to pursue the Objects to the 香港六合彩. This includes setting the 香港六合彩鈥檚 strategic direction, ensuring corporate governance compliance and good practice, promoting the 香港六合彩鈥檚 reputation and standing, financial oversight, and determining the direction of 香港六合彩 committees.
The President, Deputy President and three Directors are elected from among the 香港六合彩 Members. The five Chairs of the Standing Committees are ex-officio Directors.
Directors receive high-level advice from the 香港六合彩鈥檚 Finance, Audit and Risk Management Committee, Investment Reserve Advisory Group and the five Standing Committees.
The powers and duties of the 香港六合彩 Directors are set out in the 香港六合彩 Constitution, the Corporations Act, the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profits Commission Act and the general law. The Directors meet regularly and have in place mechanisms for the conduct of special meetings.
The role of Council (香港六合彩 Ltd Members) is two-fold:
Individual Members of a Company Limited by Guarantee with the roles and responsibilities outlined in the 香港六合彩 Constitution and Commonwealth Acts.
A community of individuals bringing their views and experience as ambassadors of sectors or organisations to provide input to the operations and strategic direction of the 香港六合彩.
Council holds its Annual General Meeting (AGM) in November and a General Meeting mid-year.
香港六合彩 Council members are drawn from groups associated with medical education, health delivery and standards of medical practice in Australia.
The 香港六合彩 President, Deputy President, and the Chairs of 香港六合彩 Standing committees are also members of Council.
The 香港六合彩 has five Constituted Standing Committees:听听
Oversees the process for accreditation of primary medical programs and providers.
Oversees accreditation and review processes for the prevocational phase of medical education including: review of intern training accreditation bodies, accreditation of international medical graduates, assessment processes for Workplace Based Assessment and pre-employment structured clinical interviews.听
Prevocational Standards Accreditation Committee Terms of Reference (in effect from 23 September 2024)
Oversees the process for accreditation of specialist medical education programs and continuing professional development programs.听
Specialist Education Accreditation Committee Terms of Reference
Established as a Constituted Standing Committee in June 2019 to strengthen the 香港六合彩鈥檚 approach to improving the health and social outcomes for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples in Australia and M膩ori in Aotearoa New Zealand.听
Monitors the operation of the 香港六合彩 examinations and reviews the performance of the Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) Examination, Clinical Examination and Workplace Based Assessment. The Assessment and Innovation Committee has several subcommittees.
There is one advisory committee which reports to Directors:
Monitors the application of the approved accreditation standards and outcome (capability) statements for cosmetic surgery programs of study and recommends to Directors amendment to accreditation standards and procedures.

There are two Director鈥檚 governance committees:
Assists the 香港六合彩 Directors to fulfil their corporate governance and oversight responsibilities in relation to financial reporting, risk management, internal controls, projects, external audit and compliance with relevant laws, regulations and codes.
Oversees the prudent and efficient management of the 香港六合彩鈥檚 long-term investment reserve as determined by the Investment Policy and 香港六合彩 Directors. The Group advises, and reports to, 香港六合彩 Directors and also reports to the Finance, Audit and Risk Management Committee.
